Irvine, CA (July 2022) – Financial Planning Ministry (FPM), a leader in nonprofit planned giving, is pleased to announce several major milestones celebrated during their 40 years of ministry Gala event on July 20 at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, CA. FPM invited Ministry Partners, FPM staff, and friends to celebrate FPM’s success in biblical stewardship and generosity. The event showed appreciation for the entire FPM team and its partners. The nonprofit organization looks forward to what God will do in this ministry co-op.
FPM announces several major milestones during the Gala. These are a few:
143 Partners: In 1982, five ministries in southern CA dream of what could be if ministries dare to work together. Now, 143 churches and ministries share in this ministry. Many of the nation’s leading churches and ministries are part of this Partnership. FPM Partners
Ministry in all 50 states: FPM started with serving only the state of California. FPM now serves all 50 states, having recently added the final state of Louisiana.
40,389 Families Served: FPM has served 40,389 with complete sets of estate planning documents. FPM is focused on ministering to families. These families now have complete sets of estate planning documents, many are designed to avoid probate. This will serve the member’s family and help fund ministry.
2.1 Billion: FPM has raised $2,104,244,358 dollars in expectancies. Partners have already received both large and small estate gifts. The largest single gift received to date is over $5 million.
It was a grand night of celebration. Congratulations were shared by Mike Miller, of Young Life; Aaron Bear, of Mission Aviation Fellowship; and Chris Goulard, of Saddleback Church. These three ministries are involved in FPM’s ministry co-op.
FPM awarded CDF Capital with the prestigious Outstanding Stewardship Award. Eric Schroeder, President & CEO, accepted the award on behalf of CDF Capital. CDF Capital has received over one million dollars in estate gifts, over 12 million in expectancies, and an additional Kingdom Impact of over 33 million. CDF Capital has partnered with FPM for 40 years.
The President of FPM, Mike Prior, shared, “What a splendid night! While we reflect on our accomplishments, we now are ready to minister in even more significant ways. Serving one member and one Partner at a time is a passion at FPM. Our celebration was confirmation that we have the right team assembled for continued growth.”
